In 2016, the first conference of STACO organization, entitled “Vision” was launched under the slogan “We see a better future” in the presence of local and international officials and activists in the field of humanitarian work.
During the conference, the organization celebrated the fifth anniversary of its founding, and presented its achievements over the past five years.

The conference aimed at creating a participatory dialogue between humanitarian workers in Libya in order to explore ways of empowering and developing charities through related discussions and finding solutions to the challenges facing the humanitarian situation in Libya. Opening a new space for cooperation between STACO and the other civil society organizations and government institutions, as well as highlighting the role played by the media in spreading the spirit of cooperation in the willing hearts.

Several workshops were held on the conference, including discussing the development of humanitarian work in Libya. A number of the organization’s employees, who were detained for five months in southern Libya, were honored.

The conference’s organizers hope that the outcomes of this conference contribute in supporting and promoting the humanitarian work in Libya at this difficult stage and be the beginning of a new phase for the organization to achieve the vision of 2026 through which it will develop charitable and humanitarian work at the local regional and international levels so that STACO becomes one of the active international organization.
