Al-Khums, Libya

Up until this moment tens of thousands of migrants are fleeing their home countries as a result of violations, torture, extreme poverty, deteriorating nourishment, education, and healthcare.

Wherein the coast guards saved 361 irregular migrants on Sunday (June 24th 2018) of a variety of African and Arab nationalities; among them were 88 women, and 44 children across the Libyan coast in Khums, east of the capital Tripoli, during their attempt to cross the Mediterranean to Europe.

Sheik Taher Azzawi Charity Organization team provided humanitarian aid to the migrants upon disembarkation before they were transported to immigrant centers, and medical care was given to 5 individuals on the rescue site due to fainting and loss of consciousness.
