The Chairman of the Board of Directors holds an expanded meeting with the Director General of the Al-Furqaan Islamic Heritage Foundation in London
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi organization, Mr. Salem Al-Qammoudi, held an expanded meeting with Mr. Saleh Shahswari, Director General of the Al-Furqaan Islamic Heritage Foundation in London.
During the meeting, ways of cooperation in the field of manuscript verification in various fields were discussed, in addition to the exchange of Al-Furqaan Foundation’s publications and those of Dar Al-Zawi for Printing and Publishing. Al-Qammoudi stressed the importance of benefiting from Al-Furqaan Foundation’s experience in the field of manuscript verification and indexing, praising the important cultural and educational role it plays.
It is worth noting that the Al-Furqaan Foundation was founded in 1988 by the former Saudi Minister of Petroleum, Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani, and has many cultural projects that aim to preserve the Islamic heritage, as this cooperation represents an important step towards strengthening joint efforts in the field of investigating and cataloging Islamic manuscripts and deepening Cultural relations between the two institutions.
