A workshop was held in Tunisia on October 9, 2018, on the humanitarian response plan for Libya for the year 2019 in the presence of representatives of the international agencies of the United Nations, local and international humanitarian organizations and ambassadors of countries in the State of Libya.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation participated  With this workshop, which aims to assess the needs for the year 2019 and provide observations and suggestions regarding the most needy areas in the region.
In his intervention, Al-Qamoudi said that there must be coordination and cooperation between the government and civil society institutions in Libya in order to facilitate the entry of humanitarian and relief aid through land, air and sea in coordination with The competent authorities.
He also pointed out the importance of having programs for disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants into the post-armed conflict society, and the necessity of activating it and considering it within the official security arrangements, the so-called DDR project.
He also stated that this project makes a big difference in reality. and that security and stability be achieved in Libya, and that it enjoy a good economic situation.
