Benghazi Youth Bloc Honors Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation in Recognition of its Efforts to Support Displaced Persons

In a gesture of appreciation for humanitarian work, the Benghazi Youth Bloc honored the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO) for its ongoing efforts in providing support and care to displaced families, especially those affected by the Derna flood disaster.

The honoring took place during an official visit to the Foundation’s headquarters in Tripoli, where a shield of thanks and appreciation was presented to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, in recognition of the relief projects and direct assistance implemented by the Foundation since the beginning of the crisis.

The Chairman of the Bloc emphasized the importance of partnerships with active civil society organizations, commending STACO’s unique initiatives targeting the most vulnerable groups. He emphasized that this honoring is an expression of gratitude for the role the Foundation plays in supporting the people of the country during times of crisis.

STACO affirms its ongoing commitment to serving displaced and affected populations, and its continued expansion of humanitarian response programs to contribute to enhancing community stability.
