18 March 2024Derna – Libya The Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization and its partners provide a shipment of medical support to Al-Wehda Teaching Hospital in DernaThe Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization and its partners are working in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Emergency Committee to support and promote health care in the city of Derna within the Hope project. The organization sent a medical shipment of 10,000 from a variety of types and necessary medical units to Al-Wehda Teaching Hospital, which included medical support, such as basic medicines, medical solutions, and health salts necessary to meet the needs of the hospital, and the shipment also included complementary medical devices and basic medical supplies, such as syringes, bandages, and surgical tools, in addition to the necessary equipment for the various departments in the hospital from internal medicine, kidneys, women, obstetrics and surgery. In addition to providing specialized support to the mental health clinic, the necessary medicines for mental health care and appropriate treatments were provided to patients. The Hope project reflects an effective collaboration between the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization and the Ministry of Health, to improve health care in the city of Derna and provide the necessary support to the hospital and medical clinics.

15- February 2024Derna – Libya The Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization continues to distribute household electrical materials in the city of Derna As part of its tireless efforts to reconstruct Libyan cities in particular and provide them with the necessary basic necessities of life, The Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization team continued distributing household electrical supplies to affected families in the city of Derna in the east of the country, a few months after the flood disaster that struck the city, causing the disappearance of a third of it along with its buildings and residents. The distribution of aid to each affected family included the following (washing machine + refrigerator + cooking gas + heater + charging lamp), which represents meeting the basic needs of electrical supplies in homes until their members return to living their lives normally.This charitable campaign, which is estimated to include about (130) displaced families, comes within the priorities of The Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization in improving the living conditions of Libyan people and lifting them from life’s obstacles and crises in order to achieve a safe and dignified life.
