High-Level Meeting Between STACO and the Central Board of Muhammadiyah to Forge a Strategic Partnership

In a prominent development that reflects the depth of bilateral relations and the expansion of international cooperation, Eng. Salem Ramadan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Organization (STACO), held an extensive, high-level meeting with the Central Board of the Muhammadiyah Association in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
This meeting acquired exceptional significance with the attendance of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Libya. His presence added an official and diplomatic dimension, strongly supporting the trajectory of joint cooperation between the two countries in both humanitarian and educational fields.
Supporting the Establishment of Imam Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi University
Discussions during the meeting centered on exploring mechanisms and avenues for effective cooperation on cultural and humanitarian levels. In a step that reflects the strong ties between the two parties, the Head of the International Cooperation Department at Muhammadiyah affirmed the Association’s full readiness to provide all forms of academic and institutional support to STACO. This support will directly back STACO’s strategic project to establish the “Imam Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi University for Humanities” in Libya, leveraging Muhammadiyah’s pioneering experience to ensure a robust foundation and successful launch for this new academic institution.
A Strategic Partnership in the Humanitarian Sector
On the relief and developmental front, the talks culminated in an agreement to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership dedicated to humanitarian work. This partnership aims to unify efforts, exchange expertise, and implement joint humanitarian and developmental initiatives.
