Hussein Al-Taher Al-Zawi and his grandson chair the general meeting of STACO

In an atmosphere of loyalty and appreciation, the honorable Mr. Hussein Al-Taher Al-Zawi, son of the great scholar Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi, along with his grandson, Professor Ahmed Al-Hadi Al-Taher Al-Zawi, chaired the general meeting of the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, and the directors of the Foundation’s departments and scientific and research centers.
The meeting opened with a speech delivered by Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, in which he warmly welcomed the two distinguished guests, emphasizing their distinguished standing with all Foundation employees. In his speech, he focused on the most prominent milestones in the Foundation’s journey since its founding on October 10, 2011, as a tribute to the legacy of Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi and an effort to embody his national and intellectual vision.

The speech included the following points:
The Foundation’s mission: Contributing to charitable and humanitarian work, in parallel with scientific and intellectual activity through conferences, seminars, and publications.
Achievements: Obtaining prestigious international memberships, such as the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Future projects: Plan to establish a public library and a Sheikh Taher Zawi Museum to document his national and scientific legacy through conferences, seminars, and the publication of books and magazines.
Following this, the Foundation’s work team and the directors of its research centers presented brief reports supported by visual presentations, reviewing the most prominent achievements in various relief, scientific, and social fields.
At the conclusion of the visit, the two guests toured the Foundation’s facilities and research centers, expressing their admiration for the level of performance and praising the efforts of all employees and their commitment to the Foundation’s mission in serving Libya and humanity.
