On Sunday and Monday, January 7-8, 2018, the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation organized a campaign entitled (I will protect myself and my environment). The campaign targeted 5 schools in the municipality of Sebha and 5 health centers.
The launch was from Khadija al-Kubra School (the annex), the secondary health center, the Garda health center, Tariq bin Ziyad School, and the extension of the Martyr Omar al-Mukhtar School.
695 primary and middle school students, as well as a number of female teachers, participated in this campaign. Interactive activities were held for the participants, demonstrating the importance of personal hygiene.
In the same centers, there were afforestation campaigns in which children participated in planting trees in school yards, where they were explained through this activity how important trees are in our lives and how to preserve the environment.
This campaign will continue for 5 days during this week to target the rest of the schools…
