Murzuq – Libya
In coordination with the Municipal Council of Sabha Municipality, food and non-food aid is distributed
The relief team of Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation STACO, in cooperation with our partners from the World Food Program, UNICEF, and the International Organization for Migration, and in coordination with the Municipal Council of Sabha Municipality, headed to the headquarters of the gathering of families in the city of Murzuq at the Ansam Al-Hurriya Association Center “Al-Rafak” to distribute humanitarian aid in light of the current circumstances witnessed by the region.
This aid is varied to include a basic food box, cleaning supplies, mattresses, blankets, covers, and others, and targeted 300 displaced families from the city of Murzuq.
It is worth noting that the situation in the city of Murzuq is still dire, and the city is suffering from the lack of any aid and the continued power and water outages for long hours, and most of the service centers are out of order, in addition to the shortage of medical staff. The clashes have also caused the deaths of dozens and the displacement of hundreds of families outside the city, as aid continues to be provided to include all families, whose number has reached more than one thousand and three hundred families.
