Qatari Chargé d’Affaires in Tripoli Visits Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation

Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO), received His Excellency the Chargé d’Affaires of the Qatari Embassy in Tripoli at the Foundation’s headquarters. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the charitable and humanitarian fields, as well as reviewing the relief and development projects implemented by the Foundation during the holy month of Ramadan.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors reviewed the Foundation’s most prominent initiatives, including the distribution of food aid, providing support to displaced families, and sustainable projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the most needy. The discussion also addressed enhancing opportunities for partnership and cooperation between the Foundation and Qatari charitable organizations to support humanitarian projects in Libya.

This visit reflects the importance of coordination between humanitarian organizations and diplomatic missions and enhances STACO’s efforts to build strategic partnerships that contribute to achieving sustainable development and supporting vulnerable groups in Libyan society.
