Russian Ambassador Visits Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation to Promote Cultural and Scientific Cooperation

Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO), received His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Libya at the Foundation’s headquarters. The meeting discussed ways to cooperate in the humanitarian, cultural, and scientific fields, as well as exchanging expertise and benefiting from the Russian experience in academic research and development.

The two sides discussed prospects for exchanging scientific and cultural publications and enhancing cooperation with the Russian Academy to benefit from its expertise in the fields of scientific research, education, and training, thus contributing to the development of the Foundation’s intellectual and cultural projects.

During the visit, the Foundation’s Chairman presented His Excellency the Ambassador with a book entitled “The Experience of the Decade After the Revolution,” which highlights the transformations in the Libyan landscape over the past years. This comes as part of the exchange of knowledge and strengthening cultural dialogue between the two countries.

This visit reflects STACO’s commitment to expanding international cooperation and its commitment to building bridges of communication with global academic and cultural institutions, contributing to supporting knowledge development and enhancing humanitarian and development work in Libya.
