Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation continues to provide relief support to displaced people from Derna

As part of its ongoing efforts to support displaced families, Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO) continues to implement the cash assistance program for rent, where financial certificates were distributed to 100 displaced families from Derna, to cover housing costs for three months, with the aim of alleviating the economic burdens and achieving living stability for these families who were forced to flee due to the repercussions of the recent floods.
The program aims to enable displaced families to find suitable housing that provides them with a minimum level of stability, in light of the challenges they face after losing their homes. This support also comes as a continuation of the Foundation’s efforts to provide humanitarian relief, which included distributing food aid, basic supplies, and medical services, to ensure a comprehensive response to the needs of displaced people in various regions.
STACO affirms its commitment to continue providing support to the most affected groups, through sustainable relief and development programs that aim to enhance the ability of communities to recover, in coordination with local and international partners to ensure that aid reaches those who deserve it efficiently and effectively.
