Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation holds an expanded meeting to enhance cooperation with municipalities

Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation held an expanded meeting with the directors of community development departments in municipalities, with the aim of enhancing partnership and coordination with municipal councils in various regions of Libya.
This meeting came in light of the current circumstances that require concerted efforts between civil society institutions and municipal councils. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Salem Al-Qamoudi, the Mayor of the Andalusia District, Mr. Samir Shaqourah, and a number of municipal representatives.

In his speech, Eng. Al-Qamoudi stressed the importance of joint cooperation and unified efforts to serve all Libyans, stressing the role of civil society in achieving sustainable development. For his part, Mr. Shaqourah praised the role of the Foundation in the humanitarian and cultural field, and its continuous support for Libyan society.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for joint work and developing a roadmap for community development and education programs, which contribute to enhancing stability and achieving sustainable development goals at the country level.
