Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation organizes a workshop on the fire crisis in the city of Al-Asabaa

As part of its emergency response to crises and disasters, the Human Resources Development and Training Department at Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO) organized a workshop entitled “The Fire Crisis in the City of Al-Asabaa: An Analysis of Causes, Consequences and Ways to Confront”, as part of the Foundation’s efforts to contribute to alleviating human suffering and supporting affected communities.
The workshop was attended by a group of academics and specialists in the fields of environment, geological science, and crisis management, where the causes of the fires, their social, economic and psychological repercussions, in addition to strategies to mitigate their effects and ways to confront them in the future were discussed.
This workshop confirms STACO’s commitment to developing sustainable scientific and practical solutions to confront disasters, and enhancing community awareness and preventive planning, which contributes to building the capacities of local communities and achieving a more effective response to crises.
