Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation Participates in the Celebration of the World Arabic Language Day at Al-Zawiya University

In response to a kind invitation from the Deanship of the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Al-Zawiya University, Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation, represented by Mr. Jamal Duwish, participated in the closing day activities of the celebration of the World Arabic Language Day.
Mr. Jamal Duwish delivered a speech during the celebration, in which he highlighted the role of the Foundation in promoting the Arabic language and supporting institutions that sponsor the language and its cultural heritage. The Foundation also presented a group of its linguistic publications as a gift to the Faculty of Languages and Translation, in enhancement of its academic role in serving the Arabic language. Among these publications are the book “The Efforts of Libyan Scholars in the Arabic Language” and the book “Teaching the Arabic Language in Basic Education”.
The session concluded with the distribution of certificates of thanks and appreciation to institutions supporting the Arabic language in Libya, where Mr. Duwish received a certificate of thanks and appreciation on behalf of the Foundation, in honor of its efforts in enhancing the status of the Arabic language.
