Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charity Foundation Participates in a Workshop on Building a Sustainable Economic Future for Libya

As part of its efforts to support sustainable development and enhance the role of women in the Libyan economy, the Women Empowerment Support Department at Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charity Foundation (STACO) participated in a workshop entitled “How to Shape a Sustainable Economic Future for Libya”, organized by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).

The workshop was attended by Ms. Suna Segemi, the official responsible for the economic file of the political process at the UN mission, where discussions addressed the current economic challenges in Libya and the mechanisms for building a sustainable economic model that balances free market mechanisms and the principles of social justice. The discussions also focused on empowering women economically and enhancing their participation in achieving stability and development.

This participation comes within the framework of STACO’s commitment to supporting economic reforms and sustainable development, by providing platforms for dialogue and exploring innovative solutions that contribute to building a more stable and inclusive economic future in Libya.
