The Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO) is following the state of political deadlock that matters have reached in the Libyan state, and the inability of the international community to reach a radical solution to the Libyan problem that ends the successive transitional stages and fulfills the aspirations of the Libyan people to reach free and fair elections.
The Foundation also followed the initiative launched by a number of (candidates for the Libyan presidency), according to the Libyan News Agency (WAL) on January 19, 2023, in which the candidates in that initiative called for the reins of government to be handed over (temporarily) to the judicial authority in the country.
As the Foundation follows up on these and other initiatives, it also confirms the initiative launched by the Foundation in the city of Tripoli on February 16, 2020 AD through a press conference held in particular, in which it was called for the formation of a presidential council for the state headed by Mr. (President of the Supreme Judicial Council) and the membership of two deputies. The initiative has stated The institution explained why the judicial authority chose this matter, and also specified its mechanism of action in detail.
From the above, it is a pleasure for the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Foundation (STACO) to renew the call for its initiative that it launched earlier, in order to unify efforts and gather the word, away from the fragmentation and fragmentation that is afflicting everyone, and to remind everyone that it is fully prepared to begin actual steps on the ground. To achieve this initiative, and to contribute to healing the rift and bringing together the parties to reach a state of permanent stability, under the umbrella of the judicial institution.
