STACO Completes Project to Install Advanced Oxygen Station at Al-Wahda Teaching Hospital in Derna

As part of its ongoing support for the health sector, Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charity Foundation has completed the project to establish a control room and install a modern oxygen station at Al-Wahda Teaching Hospital in Derna, which provides services to more than 150,000 citizens.
Station Features:
– The ability to supply the hospital with 12 oxygen cylinders, which allows the possibility of doubling the capacity of the number of beds in the surgical departments in the future.
– The capacity of a medical air tank reaches 500 liters, and the presence of 2 compressors with a capacity of 3 phases and a high electrical pressure of 380 volts.
– Establishing a special operating room for the station next to the hospital building to ensure operational efficiency and safety of performance.
Additional improvements to the infrastructure:
– Painting and renovation of the intensive care room and corridors.
– Treating moisture in the walls of the intensive care department to ensure the highest standards of infection control.
This project represents a pivotal step towards enhancing health services in the region, and reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting and developing medical facilities and improving the quality of health care for the community.
