STACO concludes a training course on crisis management

The Human Resources Development and Training Department at Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation, in cooperation with the Department of Social Service, School Health, and Psychological Support at the Ministry of Education, and the Libyan Women’s Foundation for Support and Empowerment, concluded the training course entitled “Crisis Management from a Psycho-Social Perspective”, as part of the Women and Peace Campaign activities.
The course targeted educational staff from three educational directorates:
Andalus District Education Directorate
Abu Salim Education Directorate
Tripoli Central Education Directorate
In addition, several members of the Libyan Women’s Foundation for Support and Empowerment participated, with the aim of enhancing crisis management skills from a psycho-social perspective, positively impacting the educational work environment and supporting effective crisis response.
The course was delivered by trainer Dr. Jamal Musbah Hames, with the support of Dr. Othman Ali Hames, Director of the Training Department at Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation, and in cooperation with Dr. Nadia Al-Bakoush, whose effective coordination played a key role in the program’s success. We also value the support of the primary sponsor of the Women and Peace Campaign, Mr. Ahmed Al-Rammali, Education Supervisor of Andalus District.
This course comes as part of the conclusion of the training programs for the first group, held in two phases on August 10–11 and August 12–13, 2025, as part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to empowering women and strengthening their role in building community peace.
