STACO enhances support for the health sector in Derna and neighboring areas

As part of its ongoing efforts to support the health sector, Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation continues to provide integrated medical services to the residents of Derna and neighboring areas such as Ain Mara and Al-Qubba, seeking to meet the needs of the population in light of the difficult circumstances the region is going through.

The foundation provided comprehensive support to the Sidi Khaled Health Center, including:

Specialized medical services: orthopedics and surgery, ophthalmology, and diagnostic radiology.

Various medical supplies: more than 39 items with a total quantity exceeding 874 units, including anti-inflammatories, pain relievers, cotton, sterile gauze, masks, and gloves.

Basic medical devices: blood pressure monitors, stethoscopes, and a weight measuring device for adults and children.

Child care: Providing more than 398 packages of baby milk, to ensure that their health needs are met in particular.

This support was implemented in cooperation with the Health Services Office in Derna and the management of the Sidi Khaled Health Center, which contributed to improving the quality of health services and enhancing medical care provided in the region.

Residents and local authorities praised the Foundation’s pioneering role in improving health services, stressing that these efforts contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life and supporting community stability in the targeted areas.
