STACO Launches Ramadan 2026 Food Basket Distribution Campaign
The Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Organization (STACO) has officially commenced the distribution of food baskets as part of its Ramadan 2026 humanitarian campaign. The initiative reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable families and strengthening food security during the holy month.
The program targets Sudanese refugee families, in addition to internally displaced households across several regions in Libya. Each food basket contains essential staple items sufficient to meet a family’s needs throughout Ramadan, helping to ease financial burdens and ensure access to basic nutrition during this spiritually significant period.
The Foundation affirmed that this campaign forms part of its seasonal humanitarian response strategy and aligns with its mission to promote solidarity, compassion, and social cohesion. Particular emphasis has been placed on ensuring that assistance reaches those most in need, enabling beneficiary families to observe Ramadan in greater stability and peace of mind.
