(STACO) launches the project “Supply and Installation of Oxygen Network in the Surgery Department of Al-Wahda Hospital in Derna”

Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charity Foundation (STACO) continues its efforts to support the health sector, by launching the project “Supply and Installation of Oxygen Network in the Surgery Department of Al-Wahda Hospital in Derna”, which has now reached its final stages. The project also includes the establishment of a fully equipped control room to manage the oxygen network and ensure its smooth and sustainable flow.

The project aims to replace traditional oxygen cylinders with a modern medical gases pipeline network, to facilitate transportation and distribution and meet the daily needs of Al-Wahda Hospital, which operates around the clock to provide surgical care in various specialties. It also aims to improve healthcare services for more than 150,000 people in Derna and its suburbs, and support emergency and cold surgeries, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, ENT surgeries, in addition to endoscopic surgeries.

This project represents a qualitative leap in improving the quality of health services and providing a safe and sustainable environment for patients and visitors, reflecting STACO’s commitment to supporting medical facilities and providing advanced infrastructure that serves the community.
