STACO participates in the Libya Fair Energy Transition Conference

Tripoli – Libya | 24 September 2025

The Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Organization (STACO) participated in the first day of the Libya Conference on Fair and Sustainable Energy Transition, held under the Energy Generation Initiative, with over 200 participants, including initiative ambassadors, diplomatic mission representatives, national and international institutions, and stakeholders in the oil, gas, and energy sector.

Ms. Hana Muftah from STACO presented her project proposal, “Mediterranean Shield”, to the Minister of Oil and Gas, alongside a number of ambassadors and organizational representatives. STACO also participated in the National Energy Exhibition, which brought together young researchers and innovators to showcase leading projects and initiatives in oil, gas, and renewable energy.

STACO’s participation in this event aligns with its mission to support youth, foster innovation, and contribute to national efforts toward achieving a fair and sustainable energy transition for Libya’s future.
