STACO Signs Academic Cooperation Agreement with Indonesia’s Muhammadiyah Association to Pave the Way for Establishing the Imam Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi University for Humanities

In a strategic move to enhance educational infrastructure and advance scientific research pathways, the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Organization (STACO) has signed a joint academic and scientific cooperation agreement with the Muhammadiyah Association in Indonesia. The signing of the agreement culminated an official visit by the STACO delegation, marking their first-ever visit to the country.

In this context, Eng. Salem Ramadan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of STACO, expressed his profound pleasure regarding the visit. He voiced his great admiration for the pioneering role that Muhammadiyah University plays in the fields of education, teaching, and student affairs.

On the front of institutional and educational development, Eng. Ramadan affirmed STACO’s aspiration to work collaboratively to replicate the successful “Muhammadiyah” model in Libya. This will specifically be applied to the project of establishing the “Imam Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi University for Humanities.” The Chairman explained that leveraging this deeply rooted and historic experience will enable the organization to significantly save time and effort in developing the educational process within Libya.

Furthermore, Eng. Ramadan expressed his hope that this agreement will bring prosperity, blessings, and mutual benefit to both STACO and the Muhammadiyah institution in Indonesia. He concluded his remarks by extending his sincere thanks and appreciation to the President of Muhammadiyah University and the institution at large, praising their immense efforts in preserving both the academic and religious identity in Jakarta.
