The Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation -STACO participated in the symposium organized by the Libya Complex for Advanced Studies on the responsibility to protect civilians in Libya, with the participation of professors, academics, experts and specialists, as well as those affected by armed conflicts in separate regions of Libya.
The two-day symposium dealt with visual reports documenting crimes committed outside the framework of the law since 2011.
It discussed the best way to protect defenseless civilians in light of the war and its aftermath, as well as protection from mines according to practical rules, laws, mechanisms and techniques, in addition to the problems of civilians, the displaced, the displaced and the harm-bearers, and the protection of displaced children in the context of armed conflicts.
