The Chairman of the Board of Directors meets with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan in Tripoli
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization, Mr. Salem Al-Qammoudi, met with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan in Tripoli.
The meeting discussed the situation of displaced Sudanese in Libya, and the possibility of helping them by providing urgent humanitarian aid, in light of the presence of thousands of them in the city of Kufra in southern Libya, and the continuing flow of hundreds daily in search of a safe haven, after the conflict that has been going on in their country for about a year.
The meeting also referred to the situation of the Sudanese school in Tripoli and the possibility of providing stationery and school bags to the students, to complete their academic journey to the fullest, and to enjoy their full rights like the rest of the students.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador praised the pioneering role of the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization in alleviating the suffering of displaced Sudanese in the region, praising the provision of comfort and safety for them after the suffering they experienced and the weakness of the necessities of life.
It is worth noting that the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization provided food and non-food aid to the displaced, as part of its effective role in reviving communities and developing them towards a better reality.
