The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Foundation STACO, Engineer Salem Abdel Salam Ramadan, participated in the workshop “Relief for the Yemeni People and Strengthening Stability”, which was held in the Turkish city of Istanbul, and implemented by the Mercy Humanitarian Association in Istanbul under the auspices of the Higher Committee for Relief and the General Directorate of Endowment in the Republic Turkish.
And in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Local Administration, Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee Abdul Raqib Fateh, a number of Turkish, Gulf and international relief and humanitarian organizations, and a number of officials, specialists and those interested in the relief and humanitarian field.
In his speech, Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee Abdel Raqeeb Fateh stressed the importance of moving to the second phase of the relief operation, which is related to providing livelihoods, securing job opportunities, and urgent programs related to people’s lives in the short and medium term, which are achieved to enhance stability in the governorates, which are among the urgent tasks of the government during the current and future phase.
As the humanitarian problem in Yemen is the result of the poor security situation and the Houthi coup and not because of natural disasters, which led to the deterioration of the humanitarian situation as a result of the continued killing and abuse of the Yemeni people, the failure to acquiesce in international legitimacy resolutions and the rejection of all agreements aimed at establishing peace and ending all forms of coup.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Foundation, STACO, stated that the Foundation was and still provides all its capabilities of assistance inside and outside Libya and is fully prepared for full cooperation and provision of all operations of humanitarian support and assistance. It welcomes and highly appreciates all efforts aimed at improving the humanitarian situation, supporting the legitimate government and helping the people The Yemeni, looking forward to real partnership and integrated coordination with United Nations organizations and relief organizations representing civil society, whether in Turkey or elsewhere, in order to achieve multi-directional relief work in all governorates of the Republic.
His Excellency the Minister of Local Administration, Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee of the Yemeni government, Mr. Abdul Raqeeb Fath, honored the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Society STACO, Engineer: Salem Abdul Salam Ramadan, for all the efforts made by the Foundation at the local and regional levels to alleviate the suffering on the Victims in all parts of the beloved Arab world.
