The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation, Engineer: Salem Al-Qamoudi, and the Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Foundation, Mr.: Al-Sadiq Karima, and the Director of the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Center for Research and Studies, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Ghatmi, met in the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, Rabat, with Dr. Yahya Abulfarah, Director of the Institute of African Studies of Mohammed V University Institut des Etudes Africaines IEA, and Professor Mohamed Houmeen, the general secretary of the institute.
The meeting came to discuss the possibility of organizing joint seminars on African affairs, as well as coordinating the signing of a memorandum of joint cooperation in the service of scientific research.
It is worth noting that the Institute of African Studies has managed, through the research, activities and scientific publications that it has completed since its establishment in 1990, to emerge on the national and African arena as a superior research center in African studies, which enabled it to be registered in the list of the best think tanks in the world based on a report published by the University of Pennsylvania think tanks of the world 2015.
