Al-Murzuq city – Libya
The specialized team of engineers from the Planning and Projects Department at Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation started implementing a maintenance project for 2 educational institutions in the city of Murzuq, after studying and preparing the necessary measurements and maps. Providing the exact pillars and requirements to start the necessary maintenance in those schools and educational institutions in order to return them to service as soon as possible and the possibility of receiving them for students at the beginning of the new school year.
This project is based on the agreement concluded between the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) regarding the maintenance of educational institutions in the city, which includes the maintenance work of (Jizaw Educational School) (250 students) and (Musab bin Omair) School (890). student ) .
This project is considered one of the pioneering development projects that the Foundation is implementing in cooperation with its international partners to work on achieving the required sustainable development. This project is represented in the maintenance of schools and health facilities, maintenance of water networks, as well as a afforestation campaign, in addition to specialized awareness lectures for students by a specialized and assigned team of Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Foundation To educate students about preserving the environment, preserving water and public property, and the importance of maintaining clean walls, as well as distributing soap bars to students to raise awareness of personal hygiene. This comes in an effort to increase students’ environmental awareness.
