Al-Zawiya Charity Explores Cooperation with “Memory of Oman” in Documentation and Cultural Publishing

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural and intellectual cooperation with institutions dedicated to heritage and research, a delegation from Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawiya Charity Foundation visited the headquarters of Memory of Oman in Muscat, where a meeting was held with Dr. Sultan Al-Shaibani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Memory of Oman.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Shaibani emphasized the importance of documenting and preserving the Arab and Islamic cultural heritage, commending the Foundation’s role in supporting scientific and research initiatives that promote culture and knowledge across the Arab world.

For his part, Mr. Salem Ramadan, Chairman of Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawiya Charity Foundation, expressed his appreciation for the remarkable work carried out by Memory of Oman in collecting manuscripts, historical documents, and publishing scholarly studies, affirming the Foundation’s keenness to strengthen cooperation in ways that enrich the regional cultural and intellectual landscape.
The meeting also discussed prospects for collaboration in documentation, joint publishing, and the exchange of expertise between the two institutions, in addition to exploring potential projects aimed at preserving Arab and Islamic heritage and facilitating researchers’ access to historical sources and references.

The delegation included, alongside Mr. Salem Ramadan, Mr. Mohammed Ashkal, Director of External Relations at the Foundation.
This visit comes as part of a series of meetings conducted by Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawiya Charity Foundation with several cultural and scientific institutions in the region, reflecting its commitment to building bridges of cooperation and joint action in the fields of thought, culture, and research.
