Training course entitled (Crisis Management)

Within the framework of the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation’s interest in providing its employees with new experiences and information for development and advancement, the Director of the Foundation’s Administrative Affairs Office organized a training course entitled (Crisis Management). In it, the concept of crisis management was explained in that it is a voluntary and intentional process based on planning and training with the aim of predicting crises and identifying their internal and external causes, identifying the actors and influencers in them, and using all available possibilities and means to prevent crises or successfully confront them in order to achieve stability and avoid threats and risks, while extracting Lessons and acquiring new experiences that improve the methods of dealing with crises in the future. The course included the following objectives: Define the concept of crisis.Define the concept of crisis management.Understand the main features of the crisis.Determine the administrative characteristics of the crisis.Differentiate between crisis and disaster.Determine the main causes of crises.Show the most important stages of the development of the crisis.Show the most prominent manifestations of the feeling of crisis.Crisis classification.Determine the most important factors for success in dealing with crises.Determining the steps for administrative handling of the crisis.Introducing the Islamic model for crisis management.Presenting the procedural steps to deal with the crisis.The training course included a positive interaction of the participants through discussion, exchange of information and explanation to ensure the desired benefit of participation.
Legal literacy for people with disabilities

The Department of Social Affairs at the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation organized a workshop entitled (Legal Literacy for People with Disabilities). This workshop came to introduce Law No. 5 of 1987 AD regarding the disabled, identifying the categories that fall under this law, as well as the specific rights, benefits and privileges granted to the disabled, such as exemption from customs taxes on what the disability forces them to import, transportation facilities and other rights such as the right to accommodation, care, education and work, and specify the regulations Conditions for exercising these rights. The workshop also included panel discussions by the attendees and discussed the weaknesses of this law and everything related to the rights of people with disabilities.
I will protect myself and my environment campaign

In cooperation with UNICEF, STACO Foundation organized a campaign (I will protect myself and my environment) in Tripoli, as a continuation of the maintenance and rehabilitation project, which started in Sebha city with the maintenance of 5 health facilities and 5 schools, and moved to Ubari with maintenance of 5 health centers and 5 schools.The campaign was launched for a period of three days in the city of Tripoli and targeted 5 schools, which are as follows:Al-Azhar School – Ain Al-Shams SchoolAl-Tale’a School – Khalid bin Al-Waleed SchoolAl-Islah School – Zarqa Al-Yamama SchoolAl Rasheed School – Al Wefaq SchoolSpring Flowers School – Al-Mahdi Bin Baraka School During the campaign, 8,500 primary and preparatory school students, as well as a number of female teachers, participated in the campaign. Interactive activities were held for the participants, demonstrating the importance of personal hygiene. Afforestation campaigns were also held in the same centers, where children participated in planting trees in school yards, and through this activity, children were explained how important trees and plants are in our lives and how to preserve the environment.

On Sunday and Monday, January 7-8, 2018, the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation organized a campaign entitled (I will protect myself and my environment). The campaign targeted 5 schools in the municipality of Sebha and 5 health centers. The launch was from Khadija al-Kubra School (the annex), the secondary health center, the Garda health center, Tariq bin Ziyad School, and the extension of the Martyr Omar al-Mukhtar School. 695 primary and middle school students, as well as a number of female teachers, participated in this campaign. Interactive activities were held for the participants, demonstrating the importance of personal hygiene. In the same centers, there were afforestation campaigns in which children participated in planting trees in school yards, where they were explained through this activity how important trees are in our lives and how to preserve the environment. This campaign will continue for 5 days during this week to target the rest of the schools…

It is one of the projects presented by the Foundation in order to help Libyans over the past ten yearsIt is one of the projects that are established on farms instead of confining them to their natural environment. In this field, there are several branches, including fish and aquatic plant farming.It is considered a branch of biotechnology due to the great commercial and productive development it has provided and its exploitation of the latest traditional technologies. It also grows large quantities of living organisms in water.Aquaponics is a source of income for many families who raise aquatic organisms in small areas within their agricultural and non-agricultural lands.
