Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation Discusses Academic Cooperation with Primakov Institute of International and Economic Relations

Within the framework of enhancing scientific and cultural cooperation, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation (STACO), met with the Director of the Middle East Studies Department at the Primakov Institute of International and Economic Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The visit included a scientific outreach visit, during which they discussed avenues for joint academic and cultural cooperation.
The meeting addressed the possibility of launching joint research programs, exchanging scientific publications, and organizing knowledge-based events that bring together the Foundation’s research centers and Russian academic institutions, thus enhancing knowledge transfer and exchange of expertise between the two parties.
The importance of linking academic initiatives to developmental and humanitarian realities was also emphasized, as well as employing scientific research to support the causes of peoples and communities, particularly in the fields of development, culture, and historical documentation.
This step comes as part of STACO’s efforts to strengthen its international partnerships in the field of research and studies, affirming its vision of linking humanitarian work with scientific knowledge and contributing to building bridges of cooperation between cultures.
