In a distinguished step, the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the Department of Psychological Support and Guidance of the Ministry of Education, laid the foundation stone for building a good and sound youth imbued with the spirit of citizenship and the facts of peace in a healthy and cohesive society and with a strong social fabric, by providing psychological and social support to our children within educational institutions, where the Foundation signed Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charity / STACO and the Psychological Support Department at the Ministry of Education, a memorandum of understanding for joint work in establishing projects related to the field of psychological support within educational institutions in various parts of Libya.
The celebration began with verses from the Holy Quran and standing in respect for the national anthem. It was completed by the speech of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation: Mr. Salem Al-Qamoudi, who started it by expressing his happiness that the efforts of two pioneering institutions in this field have been reconciled to participate in the establishment of projects that serve psychological support, as both of them experienced experiences that they had The positive impact of achieving stability and psychological adjustment and alleviating tension among our children that resulted from conflicts, wars and painful bloody scenes. The STACO Foundation was one of the pioneers in this field with its work that serves childhood, perhaps the most important of which is the establishment of friendly spaces projects, the rehabilitation of educational institutions, and the provision of the needs of vulnerable and needy families.
Mr. Al-Qamoudi also stressed that the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation is the voice of the weak, the affected and the voiceless. He also praised the role of civil society organizations in various humanitarian works that still need support always to reach the desired goals and achieve psychological and social peace.
Followed by the speech of Mrs. Nadia Al-Bakoush, Director of the Department of Psychological Support and Guidance at the Ministry of Education, in which she pointed to the need to open horizons for cooperation to support projects related to the role of psychological support, due to its great importance in building generations, and that the Department of Psychological Support in the Ministry was the product of a strong feminist will that achieved wide spread in all parts of the country. Libya with the efforts of its good cadres. Successful planning to bring about change towards the development of the educational process needs to be considered outside the box. Therefore, the Ministry of Education has taken this strategy as a platform to work on, which represents the Department of Support and Psychological Guidance. Mr. Salem Al-Qamoudi and Mrs. Nadia Al-Bakush kindly signed the memorandum of understanding officially. At the conclusion of the celebration, the two parties expressed their happiness with this cooperation, hoping that it would be a step towards cooperative areas for the service of the country.
