The Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation, in cooperation with the Friends of the Tree Association, organized the Libyan Conference on Environment and Humanity under the slogan:
“The Environment at the Heart of Public Policies… A Shared Responsibility”
The conference was held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Center’s headquarters – Ibn Mufarrij Street, Al-Andalus district, Tripoli, with the participation of a distinguished group of experts, researchers, environmental advocates, and representatives of national institutions.
The event featured research papers and interventions addressing current environmental challenges and ways to enhance community response, along with panel discussions and practical initiatives aimed at raising awareness among future generations.
The conference also included environmental awareness activities, reflecting the partnership between civil society organizations, the academic sector, and government entities.
