STACO Chairman Discusses Cultural Collaboration with Hermitage Museum Director

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation Meets with the Director of the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg to Discuss Cultural and Scientific Cooperation
As part of strengthening cultural and scientific relations between Libya and Russia, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation (STACO), held an expanded meeting with Professor Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, one of the world’s most prominent art and cultural museums.
The meeting discussed prospects for joint cooperation in the areas of cultural and knowledge exchange, the exchange of scientific publications, and the organization of joint exhibitions, in addition to benefiting from Russian expertise in museum management and cultural heritage preservation.
The two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between cultural institutions in the two countries, which contributes to enhancing mutual understanding and exchanging expertise in areas of common interest.
This visit is part of a series of meetings held by the STACO Foundation with Russian cultural and academic institutions, as part of its efforts to promote international cooperation and exchange of expertise in the humanitarian and cultural fields.
