STACO Chairman Meets with FAO Regional Director and TRENDS Research & Advisory Representatives

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation Meets with the FAO Regional Director and the Public Relations Officer at TRENDS Research & Advisory
On the sidelines of the Foundation’s participation in the DIHAD 2025 Conference in Dubai, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation (STACO), met with Dr. Abdulhakim Al-Waer, Regional Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the Near East and North Africa.

The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between the Foundation and the FAO in the areas of food security, building local community capacity, and supporting rural development efforts. They also explored opportunities to implement joint projects to enhance humanitarian response in crisis-affected areas.
Engineer Al-Qamoudi also met with the Public Relations Officer at TRENDS Research & Advisory, where they discussed ways of scientific and intellectual cooperation, strengthening partnerships in research and studies related to humanitarian and community work, and exchanging expertise in training and knowledge support.
These meetings are part of the Foundation’s vision to strengthen its regional and international partnerships and expand its network of cooperation with UN organizations and think tanks, contributing to the development of its programs and achieving a sustainable humanitarian and development impact.
