The relief team at Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Foundation – STACO, with the support of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), organized the distribution of food commodities to the affected families in Qatroun, Ubari and Sabha, against the backdrop of the security situation and the critical living conditions in the region.
This aid comes to meet basic needs, including food, as food baskets for families were distributed to alleviate their suffering, and their number was as follows:
Qatroun (500 families)
Sebha (1723 families)
Ubari (1100 families)
The Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation is constantly aware of the needs of low-income families, displaced and affected families, and the nature and size of the activities carried out by the World Food Program in Libya, and is working on how to take advantage of its capabilities on the ground in facilitating the task of partners who implement relief projects in the country, In order to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable groups.
