STACO Expanding its humanitarian work with American organizations

The Director of Programs at Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation meets with the Director of Programs at the Hope Project Foundation in Washington. This meeting comes on the sidelines of his participation in the Future Summit held at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The meeting discussed the aid provided by the Hope Project Organization, which was provided to health centers in the city of Derna in cooperation with the city’s health services office. The mechanisms that can be overcome logistically were also discussed and innovative solutions were explored to ensure the rapid and safe delivery of life-saving medicines and medical supplies to those in need.
The Director of Programs, Dr. Shukri Ibrahim, stressed the commitment of Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation to the principles of transparency, accountability and the highest standards of quality in working closely with local authorities and international partners to ensure that their initiatives are consistent with local needs.
