STACO Explores Academic and Scientific Cooperation with Institute of African Studies in Moscow

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation Meets with the Director of the Institute of African Studies in Moscow and Receives a Copy of “From Lenin to Putin”

Within the framework of strengthening international cooperation in the academic and scientific fields, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charitable Foundation (STACO), held a meeting with the Director of the Institute of African Studies in Moscow. The meeting took place on the sidelines of an official visit to several research institutions in Russia.

The meeting addressed prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research, African studies, and the exchange of scientific and cultural publications, in addition to the possibility of implementing joint research projects concerned with development and humanitarian issues on the African continent.

During the meeting, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi was presented with a copy of the book “From Lenin to Putin: Russia in the Middle and Near East,” authored by Russian academic Alexei Vasiliev and translated by Dr. Muhammad Nasr al-Din al-Jabali. This important publication addresses Russian policy in the region.

This meeting comes as part of STACO’s efforts to expand its network of scientific and cultural cooperation, link humanitarian work with research and knowledge at the regional and international levels, and enhance communication with leading international academic institutions.
