STACO strengthens its role in humanitarian diplomacy with international partners.

On the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Director of Programs at the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation (STACO) and the Syrian Forum held an expanded meeting in New York with the Advocacy Officer at the Syrian Forum to discuss ways to enhance humanitarian and development initiatives.
The following main services were highlighted:
Direct humanitarian assistance to provide basic support to those in need, including food, shelter and medical assistance.
Training and Employment: Recognizing the importance of economic stability, by providing vocational training programs designed to equip young people with the skills needed to secure job opportunities and build sustainable livelihoods.
Education and Development: Emphasizing the importance of education, by providing training and development programs aimed at building a qualified workforce capable of contributing to the reconstruction of Libya.
Economic Empowerment: Through various initiatives, by providing economic development and working on entrepreneurship projects.
Dr. Shukri Ibrahim, Director of Programs, stressed the importance of international partnerships in supporting humanitarian work in Libya.
