The Chairman of the Board of Directors meets with the General Director of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Salem Al-Qammoudi, met with the General Director of the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage, to review the process for preserving books and electronic archiving and to emphasize the importance of cooperation and exchange of publications between the two parties.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, with those responsible for the Center, toured the libraries and publications, and learned about the process of preserving books and electronic archiving, stressing the necessity of benefiting from this scientific experience in the fields of scientific research in Libya, while the Director General of the Center, and the necessity of cooperation, coordination, and exchange of publications between the Center, and Sheikh Tahir Al-Zzawi charity organization.
It is noteworthy that the Juma Al Majid Center for Culture and Heritage is an institution that provides library services to researchers and students, in addition to collecting and preserving cultural resources of rare manuscripts and publications and providing a comprehensive library for the humanities, Islamic and Arabic sciences, which is considered a prominent heritage landmark in Dubai and a cultural destination for all researchers and lovers of heritage and culture. The center has won many international awards and maintains more than a million manuscripts in all fields, in addition to printing hundreds of books and archiving 20,000 pages of books daily.
