In Collaboration with Tripoli Center Municipality: Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Foundation Distributes Food Baskets and Meat to Families in Need
As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to promote social solidarity and alleviate the living burdens of citizens, the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Foundation, in joint cooperation and coordination with the Tripoli Center Municipality, has carried out a broad relief campaign aimed at supporting needy and low-income families within the municipality.
The campaign included the distribution of a large number of food baskets containing essential everyday commodities, in addition to meat rations. This initiative aimed to meet vital nutritional needs and bring joy to underprivileged families facing the current economic challenges.
A Strategic Partnership to Ensure Support Reaches the Rightful Beneficiaries
This initiative is the result of effective coordination and joint action between civil society organizations and local government entities. The Tripoli Center Municipality facilitated the process by providing logistical support and access to databases and lists of the most vulnerable families. This significantly helped organize the distribution process, ensuring that aid reached its rightful beneficiaries transparently and smoothly.
Key Objectives of the Campaign:
Alleviating Suffering: Providing direct food assistance to families facing living hardships.
Social Solidarity: Fostering a spirit of cooperation and compassion among various segments of Libyan society.
Institutional Cooperation: Establishing a successful partnership model between municipalities and charitable organizations to serve the public interest.
Officials from the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Foundation emphasized that this campaign is not a standalone event, but rather falls within a broader series of developmental and relief programs adopted by the Foundation to stand by vulnerable groups.
For its part, the Tripoli Center Municipality praised the Foundation’s significant efforts, calling on all charitable organizations and donors to unite their efforts and intensify similar initiatives to provide the necessary support to everyone in need, both inside and outside the capital.
