Today, Mr. Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Foundation, met with Eshanee Shukla, Head of the Companies Department of the United Nations Human Rights Committee, to discuss ways of joint cooperation to achieve dignity and care for victims of torture, as well as providing protection and assistance to the most vulnerable groups.
As well as to determine the mechanism for implementing the legal clinic to provide consultations that serve the people of the local community by providing education and legal awareness and employing various legal sciences to serve the vulnerable groups who are more vulnerable than others to damage as a result of any change, especially in times of emergency crises, as well as the legal clinic to strengthen the rule of law in society and Providing social security by protecting the various human rights guaranteed by the constitution in order to reach the highest levels of justice through training and integration into society to serve it, feeling for those in need and providing them with a decent life.
The United Nations Human Rights Organization is a United Nations body composed of 18 experts who meet three times a year to consider reports every five years submitted by 168 member states of the United Nations on their compliance with the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and any of the individual petitions relating to 112 of the States parties to the Optional Protocol.
