As part of its commitment to promoting humanitarian and development work, the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Charity Foundation (STACO) participated in the 21st Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD 2025), held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 29 to May 1, 2025, under the theme “Humanitarian Aid and Development in a Divided World.”
DIHAD is a leading global platform that brings together humanitarian actors, including United Nations agencies, government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, and the private sector, to discuss current challenges and share experiences and best practices in relief and development.
During the conference, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of STACO, met with a number of prominent figures and representatives of international humanitarian organizations. They discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation, exchange expertise, and develop strategic partnerships that contribute to improving the effectiveness of humanitarian action, especially in areas affected by conflict and disasters.

Al-Qamoudi emphasized the importance of participating in such international events to enhance the Foundation’s presence on the global humanitarian scene and expand its impact by adopting best practices and innovations in relief and sustainable development.
STACO’s participation in the DIHAD 2025 conference is part of its strategy to build bridges of cooperation with international partners, enhance its crisis response capabilities, and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, in line with its vision of serving humanity and promoting the values of solidarity and mutual support.
