Sheikh Taher Al Zawi Donation Foundation Receives High-Level Delegation from the Russian National Research Foundation for Prospects of Scientific Cooperation
As part of its efforts to strengthen international scientific partnerships, the Sheikh Taher Azzawi Donation Foundation (STACO) was honored by a high-level reception from the Russian National Library at its headquarters in Tripoli, where they were received by Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi.
The visitor included Professor Denis Tsypkin, Director General of the Library; Dr. Olga Yastrebova, Head of the Center for Oriental Studies; Dr. Alexander Matveev; and senior scholars.
An expanded meeting was held, bringing together former Russian presidents, Engineer Salem Al-Qamoudi, and the Foundation’s research doctors and scientists. During the meeting, avenues for future cooperation were reviewed, and efforts were made to build a fruitful partnership with the Russian National Foundation.
The visitor also reviewed the latest research publications, including specialized books and studies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Salem Al-Qamoudi presented the director of the public library with a copy of the book “Documents and Manuscripts in Libya,” a highly regarded work undertaken by the Russian National Foundation.
This visit underscores the foundation’s pivotal role in building bridges of scientific and cultural communication, deepening ties across the continent that enrich scientific researchers and yield strategic collaborations.
