Within a series of meetings coordinated by the STACO team, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation, Mr. Salem Al-Qamoudi and his accompanying delegation met with the Handicap International Organization in the Tunisian capital, in order to open up prospects for cooperation and coordination in the field of mental health, as well as to provide the best services to the most vulnerable groups Weak and most in need of support and assistance.
Where Handicap International works with people with disabilities side by side, helps them and provides them with the necessary support so that they can be self-reliant, by setting up awareness-raising and strengthening self-advocacy projects for equal rights and opportunities for people with disabilities, which aims to empower activists to them and the institutions representing them to be an effective and active reference for service providers in the field of human rights.
Since its inception, Handicap International has been working in a number of (60) countries, and it has played a role in providing relief to some areas in emergency cases, and this reinforces the vision set by the Sheikh Al-Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation.
