Prominent International Presence: Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Organisation (STACO) Participates in the Global “NEXT Milan 2026” Forum in Italy

In line with its strategic vision to strengthen global partnerships and activate the role of civil society on the international stage, the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Organisation (STACO) actively participated in the “NEXT Milan 2026” forum. Hosted at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, the event is a leading global initiative dedicated to empowering future leaders.

This prestigious international forum is organized through a strategic partnership between the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), Bocconi University, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), with Deloitte serving as the official knowledge partner.

The organisation was represented at this international gathering by Dr. Shukri Ibrahim Shukri, Chief Operating Officer at STACO. The organisation’s participation highlighted the vital contributions of civil society organizations in advancing sustainable development goals.

Broad International Participation

This year’s edition attracted over 1,000 participants representing more than 60 countries. A select group of 200 participants was carefully chosen to represent specific cohorts: Young Leaders, Business Leaders, Think Tank Representatives, Civil Society Leaders, and Public Officials. Participants engaged in a series of interactive sessions, workshops, and in-depth policy dialogues held in person in Milan, which were preceded by a series of preparatory virtual sessions.

The forum witnessed the attendance of prominent international figures, including Nobel Peace Prize laureates, alongside top-tier global leaders in economics, technology, and public policy, adding exceptional significance to STACO’s involvement in shaping future visions and solutions.
