A Delegation from the Iranian Embassy Visits Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Foundation to Discuss Prospects for Joint Cooperation

An official delegation from the Iranian Embassy in Libya, headed by H.E. the Iranian Ambassador, Mr. Einallah Souri, visited the headquarters of the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Foundation. This visit comes within the framework of seeking to enhance communication channels and build bridges of joint scientific and academic cooperation between the two sides.
Expanding the Horizons of Humanitarian and Cultural Cooperation:
The visit included an extensive discussion session that addressed ways to expand the horizons of humanitarian and cultural cooperation between the two countries. Both parties discussed the possibility of exchanging expertise and launching joint initiatives aimed at serving the most vulnerable groups and helping to alleviate the impact of crises, in addition to promoting cultural exchange to serve shared humanitarian values.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Foundation, Eng. Salem Ramadan, emphasized the pivotal role of “humanitarian diplomacy” in today’s world. He pointed out that it represents the soft power and the most prominent tool for the success of non-governmental organizations and charitable institutions. It was also stressed that humanitarian work transcends geographical and political borders, becoming a universal language that contributes to building peace and achieving stability and sustainable development for societies.

H.E. Ambassador Einallah Souri praised the Foundation’s diverse programs and projects, whether in the fields of relief, healthcare, or community development. At the conclusion of the visit, the Ambassador and his accompanying delegation expressed their great admiration for the operational mechanisms of the Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawi Charity Foundation, commending the scale of its field achievements and the high level of professionalism with which the Foundation manages its humanitarian portfolios in Libya.
