To this moment, tens of thousands of migrants are still fleeing their countries as a result of violations, torture, extreme poverty, malnutrition, education and health care.

Today, Sunday (24 June 2018), the Coast Guard rescued 361 irregular migrants of African and Arab nationalities, including 88 women and 44 children, off the Libyan coast in the city of Al-Khums, east of the capital, Tripoli, while they were trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe.

The team of the Sheikh Taher Al-Zawi Charitable Foundation provided humanitarian assistance to the migrants before transferring them to the migrant centers, and provided medical care to 5 people at the rescue site due to fainting and loss of consciousness.
